The Research Ethics Committee (REC) of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) was established in 2004 with the approval of the Vice Chancellor. Operating as a Tier 1 (Executive) committee. REC functions under UiTM Research and Innovation and reports to the Jawatankuasa Induk Penyelidikan Universiti (JKIPU) and to the UiTM Senate.
